EDU’s second EP on Nellie Recordings is finally here. Starting off with Undead. The title might be a bit creepy, but don’t let the name fool you! It’s actually a refreshing and quite joyful track with crispy synths all the way. Skeleton on the other hand is the complete opposite of joyful. It’s a dark, nightmarish tune, but you will get roped in thanks to its great groove and drive.

“Undead” was played by Judge Jules on BBC Radio 1 and “Skeleton” received airplay by Markus Schultz, Marcus Schossow and Neil Moore to name a few.

Cloudivers, or Anatoly Shemuratov and Alexander Polo to be more formal, debutes on Nellie Recordings with a solid three-tracker. Melodic and powerful are two words that comes to mind when listening to this EP. While “Sunrise On Mars” and “Autumn” gives the release a summerish and happy vibe, “We Are Cloudivers” is the complete opposite and more club oriented.

Big support by M.I.K.E. and airplay by Neil Moore. We’ve also received great responses from artists like Shawn Mitiska, Dash Berlin, Matt Rowan, Flash Brothers, Darin Epsilon, Nick Stoynoff, Shipstad & Warren, Dave Cortex, Invisible Sounds, Manuel Le Saux, Luke Porter, Suzy Solar, Embliss, Airbase, Matt Devereaux, Hyline, HypnoticDuo, Har Rock Sofa and many more.

Claes Rosen is back on Nellie Recordings with yet another melodic masterpiece. This time he delivers an absolutely amazing two-tracker in “Endeavour / Delirious”, beautiful like always with chopped vocals, groovy basslines, crispy synths and melodies to die for. If you’re a fan of Claes, you won’t be disappointed. It’s everything you could ever imagine from one of this scenes most consistent producers.

This release have received great response from Interplay, PROFF, Beltek, Matt Rowan, Shawn Mitiska, Schodt, Dave Cortex, Nick Stoynoff, Shipstad & Warren, Flash Brothers, Embliss, Mike Saint-Jules, Marco V, Bobby Deep, David Amo & Julio Navas, Airillusions, Cor Fijneman, Talla 2XLC, Suzy Solar and many more.

OUT NOW

https://www.beatport.com/en-US/html/content/release/detail/218048/kontrol_crossing_the_sun

Mike Dierickx, also known as M.I.K.E, with his third solo production under the moniker Project M.C, delivers a complete feel-good track in “Kontrol”. With a couple of really driving and well placed synths underneath together with an emotional melody on top, this track should be given in any music library. Supported by Tiesto.

While “Kontrol” got a more emotional vibe, “Crossing The Sun” will take you to a different state of mind. This track moves forward like a high-speed rail with its trancy sounds and bassline. Dancefloor material to say the least!

Release schedule for Feb & Mar + Update

February 1st, 2010

* News:

- Soon enough Nellie Recordings will launch a podcast. Right now we’re just waiting for jingles to get record and produced. After that, the plan is to run it twice a month. The podcast will be available through iTunes and our podcast site which you can find here: http://podcast.nellierecordings.com/

- As some of you might know, we have launched a little Nellie Forum. We are aware of the competition out there but I’m really fond of the idea of having running my own forum. However, you can check it out here: http://forum.nellierecordings.com/

- News page added to the server thanks to the wonderful Wordpress. If you want to read some about random events on Nellie, this site might be the right choice for you. http://news.nellierecordings.com/

* Released on Nellie:

- In January we started off nicely with a bangin’ track from Audible called “Blackout”. Even though it wasn’t the success we hoped for, we’re still in love with the track. Hopefully more to come from him very soon. If you missed this release, you can check it out here: https://www.beatport.com/en-US/html/content/release/detail/211994/blackout

- In mid January a new face showed up on Nellie – the talanted Alandanat. With a smooth track in “Northwest”, we’re just so pleased to have him onboard. The remixes from Invisible Sounds and EDU are of course solid. https://www.beatport.com/en-US/html/content/release/detail/214712/northwest

- Last but not least we released Alaa’s new EP which received great response from a variety of DJ’s. Alaa showed some diversity in this release and that’s really important. Maharashtra is a personal favourite! https://www.beatport.com/en-US/html/content/release/detail/215216/maharashtra_kerala
